The goal of the project is to research and present the work of Janez Akvila (Johannes Aquila), a 14th century painter and architect. The following activities were implemented during the project: one-day thematic tours to Velemer, painting colonies in the style of Janez Akvila, an exhibition of works by colony participants, tourism info-material, a DVD on attractions along the Akvila route, info-boards about attractions along the Akvila path in the villages of Velemer and Nemesnep, promotional lectures to travel agency employees and tour guides on Janez Akvila´s creative life. Achievements: Making cross-border program Akvilove way or promotional material (website, DVD, leaflets, information table), which was created under the project, contributing to the presentation of the work John and Aquila to the expansion of cultural offer border regions and to increase the number of incoming tourists.
