ACADEMY OF MOBILITY project is a response to the identified problems of students and graduates of the Motor Vechicle School in Rzeszow. It has been planned to implement for 24months. It is designed to facilitate the graduates of our schol to enter the labor market. The main objective is to increase the students’ professional and social competence during training to become car technician, mechatronics technician, car mechanic, electro-mechanic , panel beater and car painter. This will be achieved through the implementation of the following specific objectives:• making school more attractive by organizing internships abroad• increasing the number of hours of practical classes beyond the core curriculum• acquire of new skills, professional competence and professional experience• increasing employment opportunities by obtaining new skills confirmed by certificates • development of the application documents and knowledge of the principles of self-presentation• preparation for the job searching and develop skills of searching and applying for financial subsidies• improvement of language and intercultural competence• organization of additional specialized professional courses For the project implementation it has been selected a parter, proven during the implementation of previous projects . It is F+U of Chemnitz company in Germany. They have many years of experience of education in professions related to the automotive industry.Participants in the project will be recruited from all students of technical classes- from year 2-4 and vocational school classes–year 2-3 ,according to the criteria laid down in the rules of recruitment :learning outcomes of vocational subjects, behaviour, motivation– desire to take advantages of internship based on an interview with the recruiment committee, attendance After collecting the entire group a list of participants and a reserve list will be established. This will be followed by preparatory classes. Each participant will take part in the 35hour course:-cultural preparation- 5h according to extracurricular activities designed to familiarize them with the history of the host country, its traditions and customs. There also will raised issues of tolerance and stereotypes ,refugees (lead by a historian and a paramedic)-first aid classes -5has extracurricular activities - to prepare participants for proper behaviour in the event of health or life hazard ( lead by a historian,and a paramedic)-workshops of career counseling-10h classes as extracurricular activities in the field of exploring their own professional potential, building self-esteem, creating a professional resume and cover letter, interview preparation, active and effective job search, principles of interpersonal communication, self-presentation, requirements of employers and moving through labor market (lead by Polish language teacher&IT teacher, career advisor)-preparation from German automotive industry language-15h as extracurricular activities (teacher of German language, a sworn translator of German language).After completing the training and signing all documents students will join a 4-week professional internship in Germany. Participants will get insurance, transport, accommodation and meals. During their stay, students will participate in classes at the workshop, language classes, specialized courses and professional thematic tours.Throughout the whole stay students will be accompanied by two Polish carers (German language teacher as a translator and profession teacher as a substantive support). Students will have contact with relatives through the Internet and telephone.During the trip, students will fill in internship file in which they will document their stay and progress. Their professional competence and language skills will be evaluated by German specialists. After completion of the internship students will receive the following certificates: certificate of participation in the project, an internship certificate, certificate of completion of specialist training course, certificate of participation in a course of German industry language and Europass.Participants will be surveyed at the beginning of the project,during internship and and after their arrival to assess project implementation process at every stage and, if necessary, be able to make changes.With its actions, the project will contribute to:- improvement of professional skills and increase of employment opportunities- improvement of language skills- increase of communication and interpersonal skills and raise of self-esteem- motivation to self-study- acquisition of team work, work organization, division of tasks- finding oneself in a multicultural society and overthrow of gender and Polish and German stereotypes- making new friends The implementation of the project will improve the quality of teaching and the school attractiveness in the area.
