AHVIIT-ACCESS - Innovative e-training tool and audio haptic based learning materials for workers of vocational trainees who may be visually impaired or blind

The project aims to provide innovative vocational training to learners who are blind or visually impaired and this way improve their employability and inclusion. It intends to develop a system that uses multi sensory stimuli (talking tactiles) to deliver vocational training for the visually impaired in 3 vocational fields: Sports Massage, Food Hygiene and Basic Cookery Skills, Basic Computer awareness and operation. These talking tactiles will supplement existing e-learning content. It is also intended to produce 3 sets of pilot course materials and an online staff training programme. The main target group is workers who are visually impaired or blind, visually impaired or blind students at VET schools, colleges, self-paced learners and employees wishing to return to the workplace after sight degradation.
