The project "Agribusiness - new opportunities for regional labor market" – is aimed at 30 students of classes II and III of Vocational Schools in Piotrkowice Male and Goworowo in preparing to the proffesion of agribusiness technician. The basis of the project is to conduct a 14-day vocational training in Greece. GEORGIKES EKMETALEUSEIS is our partner organization, which specializes in organizing professional training in the field of agribusiness. It acquires the agritouristic farm and extensive contacts with agribusiness companies within the Olympic Riviera. Participation of students in the vocational training will broaden their theoretical and practical knowledge. They can also benefit from the experience of highly qualified workers. Vocational training framework program responds to local needs of agricultural regions, which students come from. It also takes into account the objectives and requirements of education in the profession of agribusiness technician. For the effective implementation of the project prior to departure, students will attend the linguistic, cultural and psychological workshops.The project is adjusted to the contemporary challenges of agriculture and responds to the needs of the local labor market. We will support entrepreneurial attitudes among young people, which we hope will help them to create their own agribusiness enterprises or agritourist farms, which are crucial for the development of these regions. Skills and competencies, which students gain at the vocational training will allow them to better find their way in the labor market.
