In a rapidly changing society schools must undertake a necessary and constant updating process, meeting the challenges of increasingly complex management, teaching, and communication tools, while preserving the traditional educational and training values. The use of new technologies in teaching and management activities is not always supported by suitable training opportunities which would allow the staff to:- Take maximum advantage of the available tools and technologies- Adopt challenging and innovative teaching, management and administrative strategies- Better meet the needs of pupils, parents, and the local communityFurthermore, a deeper knowledge of other EU Member States would raise the awareness amongst new generations of being European citizens. For the above mentioned reasons, and after the analysis of the needs expressed by internal personnel and external stakeholders, our school has drafted a staff mobility project aimed at raising and updating linguistic, computer-based, teaching and management skills, especially related to CLIL teaching practices, innovative digital teaching practices and activities related to the work based learning. It is envisaged the participation of 8 members, selected by taking into account the school strategic development plan, personal motivation, needs, skills, as well as the impact of staff mobility on the organization as a whole. Any practical arrangement (mobility agreements, accommodation, training material, preparation courses, etc.) shall be planned by the team of the project with the support of the receiving organizations. The school will provide participants with the necessary details concerning their mobility, ensuring efficient mentoring and supervision throughout all the steps of the project. Specific evaluation and monitoring tools shall be used to assess the compliance of the activities, their impact on the staff involved, their relevance for the institute as a whole, and the achievement of the desired outcomes. Participants in the mobility activities are expected to improve their competences and skills, and the quality of teaching and learning, thus raising the overall capacity of the school also in terms of internationalization and educational guidance for pupils. In the long term, a better trained and highly motivated staff should be an added value for the school, with a positive and motivational impact on all the stakeholders (internal and external) and the local community.
