Our school, the Klebersberg Intezmenyfenntartó Központ Ady Endre- Bay Zoltán Középiskola és Kollégium is located in Sarkad, that is the one of the most disadvantaged town of Hungary.
Next to the secondary school education we have a division of vocational education and vocational trainings as well.
In 2010 we already had a winner Leonardo tender.
This year we would like to send again 12 informatics students and 2 escort teachers to Italy for a 3 weeks vocational practice to EVOLVO Srl (same hosting partner as last time).
EVOLVO undertakes the practical arrangements of the project, and they already have an ECAS registration, but the professional hosting company will be ABB Spa.
ABB has produced it's first industrial robot 40 years ago, that was a pioneer. Today they are the market leaders that has sold already 160.000 pieces of industrial robots over the world.
Our students will experiment the programing of these robots and will also work with the complex management program of the company.
They will have the opportunity to visit some of the partners of ABB that are using ABB industrial robots, so that they can observe them in practice as well.
In case of a winner project we will select the participants still before this semester ends (2014. June). The trainings will take place at the beginning of the new semester, and they will travel to Milan at the end of October 2014.
After they return we will organise an event called "I"ve been in the EU on practice", where the students will present their learning outcomes and also will hold workshops to the other students.
The participants will investigate such a technology that is an extremely important development area nowadays. Apart from that they will work with a complex management program that will enable them to apply successfully to the big companies operating in Hungary.
The fame of our school will rise through the success of
