Active, Young - the value for employers

The project will concentrate on the capacity building and youth participation, on the exchange of experience, ón the social and personal development of the ¡ntematiòrial group of young pęople,on fostering and shaping the youth employment policy as well as the dialogue with potential employers and the young people during the international conference. Project activities include also the.exchange of experience and best practice in the field of the youth empowerment and active participation.Project activities:1. Youth integration and thematic discussions on Facebook.2. Development of the "Youth empowerment guidebook" and "Employability brochure'3. Study and training visit to Warsaw 26-30/08/2013: extensive training programme: main topics: leadership, communication and employability, European programmes and projects, non-formal education,4. Study visit to Cracow: 30/08-01/09/2013: visit to the regional administration of the Małopolskie Voivodeship - presentation of the policy towards youth, best practice examples; team building, visit to Wieliczka Salt Mine.5. Workshops and the international conference on youth policy in face of Europe 2020 strategy: 02-06/09/2013: main topics: European citizenship, active participation in public life, social partnership. Meetings with business and media representatives, best practice examples of voluntary actions, participation in the international forum involving young leaders from different countries.Direct project participants are 4 groups (12 persons each) of young people from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstah, Germany and Poland. They will undergo extensiye training programme in Poland targeted at the enhancement of their public, social and personal activity and employability. The project will also reach over 250 people-intellectuals, scientists, entrepreneurs, politicians, media and NGO representatives during the international conference. They will discuss youth policies and their development in the future at the international conference in Krynica Zdrój in September 2013.Project results:• Enhanced abilities and employability of the group of young people from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Germany and Poland and their education in the fields of: Employability, Leadership, European citizenship.• Improvement of the youth policy through the debates during the international conference gathering the decision-makers from business, politics, science and media (Europe 2020 strategy: employability, smart growth, inclusion measures).» Integration of the view of young people into the discussion on the future of the youth policy in face of Europe 2020 Strategy.The project dissemination strategy covers direct activities aimed at awareness raising, i.e. the development and publication of the "Youth empowerment guidebook" and "Employability brochure". The information and awareness campaign iri electronic media consists also of: placing series of advertisements on the NGO and youth-related websites in the countries involved; publishing articles on youth issues in the internet editions of the national newspapers.The project's estimated impact is the creation of a dynamic international group of active young people and the development of their networking, personal and social skills. The project activities and discussions will foster the understanding, and integration of the youth groups from Europe and Asia. The activities of the project will contribute to the European discussion on the youth policy and employment, especialy in face of the priorities of Europe 2020 strategy and current trends in youth policy.
