This project "Active vs. Couch-Potato" contributed to promoting physical activity in children and youth work. 36 participants from 6 European countries, including young people, educators and youth workers have been sensitized in this project for the importance of movement in our lives. They learned ways to know movement in everyday work to be with incorporated. The training was a combination of theoretical input in plenary, many work in small groups, in which could be incorporated their own ideas and suggestions and practical workshops in which options have been tried to promote physical activity.
The aim was that the participants of the training to implement their own projects in their home organizations. They were as far trained that they can act as a "movement coach" in their partner institutions and want. The participants for the organizations and the people in the organizations possibilities developed physical activity in their daily routines with install.
The project has multiplying effects on organizations. In general, we expect a lasting impact on the target audience in terms of physical activity and exercise in nature.
