The project "Active Today - Successful Tomorrow" is developed in the context of the larger European idea for active, educated and defending its position European youth. The project will promote the European Youth Week on the territory of the Region of Kyustendil through the implementation of activities which activate the young people and give them the opportunity to express themselves as European citizens.Participants: young people and volunteers aged between 16 - 35 years old from the Region of Kyustendil.Location of the activities: the Region of Kyustendil, Republic of Bulgaria.Project duration: 26th April 2011 - 31st May 2011Specific activities: 1. Large Information campaign on European Youth Week.2. Youth meeting "Open Doors for the Young People in Europe" - presentation of Youth in Action Programme, Education and Employment for Young People in the European Union and Volunteering.3. Bicycle march under the slogan "Everybody Cycle - Let's go together!", Eco-initiative and Concert - happening.4. Advertizing in the media - creation of a radio and TV clip promoting the European Youth Week, shooting and broadcasting of a TV programme on European Youth Week.The project implementation will be based on the methods of informal training - information campaigns, lectures, presentations, discussions etc.
