Active Thinking is Active Being!
Start date: Jun 17, 2014, End date: Jan 17, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

"Active Thinking is Active Being!" (ATAB) is a project consisting of two training courses, which will ensure a wholesome learning experience for youth leaders and equip them with methodological and theoretical knowledge for addressing youth passivity and also other relevant topics by using sports and film as non-formal learning tools. One of the mayor issues EU is facing is youth unemployment and pro-activity of youth is today more important than ever. The common ground of both activities under the auspices of this project will be aimed at promoting proactive thinking, doing, being! Activities organized under the auspices of organization Zavod Anima Vita will take place in the summer and autumn 2014, exactly three months apart. Training courses will take place in an international and multicultural environment, with project partners from Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Slovenia as the hosting partner. Project partners are all very active and relatively large organizations operating in the field of youth work and each of them will send 3 youth leaders, trainers or project organizers, to attend both training courses. A single training course will therefore be attended by 21 participants. During TCs, which will both last for 7 days, participants will be actively involved and by way of active involvement and personal development will be able to internalize the learning process which they will later on be able to transfer also to youngsters from their local communities and participants of their youth projects. All of them will act as multipliers and ensure that the learning process which will take place under the auspices of the project will have longterm effects on local and international youth work.
