The EVS Project "Active participation for inclusion: Vaivari and Bolderaja" created by 5 partner organizations and 3 volunteers from Turkey, Austria and Spain. Project created on values of inclusion society and equality for children and youth with social disadvantage background.One part of the Project will be in the School of Inclusive Education in Vaivari (Jurmala city, Latvia) and other part in Bolderaja's Social Support Centre (Riga city, Latvia).All 3 volunteers will have 9 month voluntary time, with the aim to make pro-active nonformula activities for social inclusion. Volunteers will work under supervision and support of professional social workers and pedagogues of inclusive education. Project activities are divided by profile and needs of the host organisation and volunteers. The main three areas are: To support children with learning difficulties and their families to organize non-formal, creative and artistic workshops; To support children of the inclusive school to interact with the local community by structured out door and animation methods. To support to develop and promote social competencies for teenagers in interaction during after school actives; To support young adults after orphanages, socially and economically excluded youngsters to improve their social competencies to be in ordinary local society and to improve positive experiences for raising self-esteem using non-formal educational approaches.
