The ACTIVE multi-measure project, containing one Networking, two Trainings and one Evaluation has as its objectives1)To implement quality trainings based on a longer-term programme and planning process, allowing for stronger thematic development, higher partner involvement and better recruitment processes.2)To put a consistent focus on the three themes of the project (voluntarism, environment and health) throughout the project period (and beyond), to combine these themes in innovative ways, and to share experiences and results with a wider audience3)To establish a formal, open youth network and a knowledge platform for Education through Sport, the main methodological approach of the projectCovering activities in Denmark, Slovenia, Germany and France, the ACTIVE project has as its target groups organisational leaders in national and local Youth and Sport organisations from across Europe, youth leaders, youth workers and youth project managers these organisations; and young people that are active or want to become active in projects in Education through sport. 88 participants are directly involved, and more than 600 will be engaged though the project and its network.
