The Tacis project (see item ”linkage with other programmes” in the project plan), administered by the Lahti Polytechnic, promotes and creates financing models suitable for new, technology-oriented companies. Design and marketing communications in the ICT sector will now be added to this co-operation. Companies operating in the ICT sector or in industrial design, based in Päijät-Häme and established less than 4 years ago, are offered an opportunity to participate in a project by means of which they can export their konw how and services to technology-oriented small-scale companies in the St. Petersburg area.
