"Action 2 - Proactiveness" - a project, which seeks to encourage young people activity, involvement into local and international youth activities, introduce opportunities to young people, who live in small cities and villages. Participants of this project are 16-25 years old young people from Lithuania, Poland, Greece and Turkey, who are motivated, seeks to know more about proactiveness conception and film workshops. Proactiveness - the main concept about which we will discuss in our project. What does it mean? Young people have to realise, that not everything in their life is easily reachable, if they want to reach their goals, at first, they have to make steps by their own. Most of young people just use already made products, but what is the difference between creator and consumer? What does it mean to initiate changes instead of complaining? What place does the creativity takes then? desire to create something unique? what about self-realization? Activities not only for themselves, but also for a community? Sad, but more preferable choice for most of young people is giving up and joining the crowd. Those are the main questions we want to find answers to during the project. What does it mean for a young person to be a creator? How to suggest and represent their ideas to general public? How to spread the news about it and involve more people? Project's purpose is to find out and realise proactiveness meaning in youth's life, by using cinema ( film creating process) , let people live with proactiviness - by becoming product's (movie's) creators.
