The project starts from considering how important is international mobility of youth, particularly nowadays, when the north and the south shores of Mediterranean Sea are counterposed. Their cultural heritages seen as opposed and incompatible, basing on stereotypes that weaken the opportunities of socio-cultural and economic enrichment that characterized the development of that area in the past.The project’s main objective is to promote international mobility, on which is based the Erasmus Plus Program, developing and spreading good practices and opportunities of intercultural and interreligious dialogue. It aims to promote a culture made of peace and respect, building an inclusive way of development that does not discriminate anyone basing on their age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic origin or religious belief.The specific objectives are: - to create a safe space for exchange and discussion in order to raise awareness and understanding about the Euro-Mediterranean citizenship; - to develop inclusive participation and active citizenship; - to spred the Erasmus Plus Program as privileged tool for international mobility of youth; - to promote intercultural communication and interreligious dialogue among youth coming from different backgrounds, in order to deconstruct stereotypes and prejudices and to considerdiversity as the basis for a social, ethic and economic development; - to provide occasions to reflect upon opportunities and challenges for youth coming from Euro-Mediterranean region in participating in international mobility projects.The project involves 32 participants from Italy, France, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia and Lebanon, aged 18-25, able to communicate in English, selected basing on their motivation to meet other cultures and their interest in the project’s themes, respecting gender balance in the group.The Youth Exchange will be held in Torino, 4th-12th October 2016. The activity will be participant-centred, through the use of Non Formal Education methodology.The long-term positive impact is connected to the participants role as multipliers in their local contexts, using the tools and good practices experienced. Moreover, as an output of the Youth Exchange, the group will design and implement an advocacy campaign about the facilitation of procedures for obtaining a Visa for international mobility with education purpose. This campaign will be officially presented in a local school and through a Press Conference during the Youth Exchange and it will be then spread by all the partenr organisations, in order to raise awarness about this issue in each of the Countries involved in the project and to promote Erasmus Plus Program.
