The "Able disable" is a project initiated by young people from Lublin. The exchange that took place between the 3 countries of the European Union familiarized participants with the subject of disability. Volunteers participating in the exchange are primarily students full of enthusiasm and willingness to work, and knowledge of the world around them. During the project, we have enlarged bond mutual intercultural and we break stereotypical barriers, exchanging experiences of individual countries on persons with disabilities. We have learned the barriers and opportunities faced by such people. The main objective of the project was to understand the needs of people with disabilities, the exchange of good practice between partner countries and the acquisition of new skills by participants in the exchange. To promote active citizenship, including young people from Lublin in the life of their city. We became the local community that they themselves have an impact on the surrounding reality. The project prepared a publication and a spot for the disabled. In addition, we organized a festival where we created the publication were distributed to the local community. Through trip to one of the centers for people with disabilities we met the methods and techniques for working with such people.
