PROJECT
FINISHED
The aim of the project is the development of the vocational-teaching activity of the Agricultural Vocational Centre of Central-Hungary in a way when every stakeholder’s needs are satisfied and the participants get international experience, knowledge and skills.
The school, focusing on its professional profile, firstly would like to develop those competencies in the field of food-industry and agriculture both for the students and the teachers which innovate the content of the vocational education. The aim is to give the students the needed knowledge to succeed in the labor market and increase the quality of the school’s trainings.
An important purpuse of the project is the development of the general vocational methods, to involve the methodological elements, required by the challanges in the modern age, in the pedagological culture of the school. During the mobilities the participating collegues get to know the pedagological practices and vocational training methods which could be used in every field and level. One of our most important aim is to collect positive examples for the usage of the project method, observe the different implementation techniques in different institutions and also get to know the new generation of grading methods, the know-how of student portfolio making.
We chose the destination countries based on their added value for our pedagological aims. France is the home of dual vocational training, in Denmark and Finland the individual student paths and the project method is widely implied, the first destination provides high quality reintegration in the vocational education for underpriviliged children, and in Finland the work-centered grading is succesfully used in indinivual learning. The quality of vocational education depends on the common activities of the students and teachers. Results in the development of vocational training are only reachable if the students and the teachers have similar experiences in similar environments. This is the reason why we decided to connect the student and staff mobilities so this way they can experience similar realities, teaching and technological conditions etc.
The student mobilities are listed based on the taught professional sectors and every activties is going to be realized in a destination where the traditions meet the newest technologies. This way the participating students get to know succesfully high quality, effective practices and this will increase their motivation and develop their professional and personal competencies. Ultimately contribute to the succesful personal carreer building, enforcement of the working world and the emergence of the need for life long learning.
