Activities of Centre for Art Management and Information have always been linked with transnationality, innovation, creativity and promotion of active civic society.The mission of MMIC is to organize international art events in order to promote experimental innovative visual art projects focussing on contemporary sculpture in urban public space to strengthen the tradition of European cultural exchange and interaction; to look for experimental and innovative forms of cooperation between various groups of society fostering links and understanding between the centre and peripheral/marginal zones in contemporary art, public space, and diverse European regions; to break down elitism in art and culture space through openness and accessibility; to promote art to the society focusing on events in public space, open society and integration of diverse social groups in contemporary societal and cultural processes; to foster mobility and visibility of artists and their works on the European level.
