Thiérache is a rural area where the problems of mobility and access to healthcare are a major issue. The social and health indicators are particularly unfavourable.The notions of territory and territorial project are at the heart of the Thiérache project. The partners want to supplement the local health contract for Thiérache with a cross-border framework on prevention andhealth promotion.

To change patients mentalities and habits in the cross-border area, the partners have multidisciplinary therapeutic education tools: dieticians, psychologists, health and fitness advisors.With this project, the partners want to develop an integrated prevention and health and social care model for obese persons who are socially vulnerable, and encourage health experts to exchange know-how.
