2014 Volunteers Kalmar is a long term European Volontary Service project in Sweden including 2 volunteers from 2 different countries; Cyprus and Spain lasting 12 months. The volunteers will work in 2 different youth centres in Oskarshamn. They will contribute to the development of the youth in south east Sweden. All youth centres have a large cultural agenda that the volunteers will contribute to with their different backgrounds and skills. The goal is that the volunteers, the promoters and the youth in Kalmar county will develop their cultural understanding, tolerance and openness. As well as that the volunteers taking part in the project will improve their atractiveness on the labour market. With the tools from Youthpass the volunteers will learn about skills such as social skills, learning to learn, languages and entrepreneurship to name some.
