The department of international exchange and study trips of the Auslandsgesellschaft is duty-bound in its programme to make a contribution to promoting understanding between cultures, religions, mental attitudes and philosophies. It collects information and tips about destinations, works out and implements programmes for study trips and seminars. The project brought "breath of fresh air" to the work of the youth department. The volunteer took the Chance to work on programs facilitating intercultural exchanges and Encounters. The aim of the programs and the project is to support the idea of youth and cultural exchange in europe, to meet people for this purpose from other nations. She learned how to organise youth exchange and study trips, from organising upt to promote and to realise them. In the beginning she learned all aspects of exchange and practical responsibilities in the organisation. She got help in organising cultures study trips and the capibilitiy or pgram making.go help for preparing material and coordination. She used this experience for realising study trips to Polen and Straßburg, helping to realise the high School program/visit of the Group from Buffalo. And she was part of EVS-information-and-presentation Workshops. The gave motivation to young People from Dortmund to participate in the EVS program.
