+1 is an EVS project with an aim to promote participation in international youth project among youth livingwith disabilities. It includes two short-term EVS service neither of them lasts one month and hosts 2different young people with either intellectual or physical disability. Altogether there will be 2 volunteersfrom different countries hosted in April 2013 and 2 volunteers hosted in May 2013. According to the needsof the volunteers, they may be accompanied by assistants.Themes of both projects are disability and anti-discrimination. Program designed for the projects consistof volunteers' self-development, intercultural learning and disability awareness raising activities. We createa space where youth with disabilities will have secure environment for their self-expression and anopportunity to share their experiences among their peers. “+1” is also an opportunity to bring togetherorganisations that work in NGO field as well as in public field (schools, youth centres) to create new formof network and give a chance for new forms of collaborations.Program that is designed for the project supports non-formal education methods and will rely on the keycompetences provided within YouthPass to follow and support volunteers learning experiences.
