Substantive knowledge on cultural heritage (Civil Architecture, Monuments, Historic Districts, Settlements, Archaeological Sites), Risk Assessment, Disaster Risk Management, Architectural and Urban Conservation, Urban Planning, Comprehensive Planning, and Sustainable Design. Professional experience on architectural and renovation projects, from concept design to completion of construction, for hotels, residences and office buildings in several countries in Asia and Europe (Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey).
Advanced training on Architecture in Heritage Conservation and Management at Doctorate level with teaching experience at Middle East Technical University, Turkey. Conducted research at Harvard University, Boston and at ICCROM, the International Center for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property, Rome. Member of ICOMOS Turkey, and ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Risk Preparedness (ICORP). Interested in the calls that have cultural heritage component.
