1983-1990- lecturing at Neophilology Faculty , Warsaw University (Portugal art) and 1994 -2008 museum studies at Warsaw University. From 2008 professor at the Wyszynski University in Warsaw, 2009-2010 Head of the Modern Art and Museology Department, Institute of Art History, 2010-2012 director of the Institute of Museology. From 2013 professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Head of the Theory Department, Graphic Arts ;
2002-2009 President of the Society of Artistical Olimpic Games, Poland.
Member of ICOM, 2002-2008 and 2012-2018 President of the Polish National Committee of ICOM, member and co-founder of CEICOM, from 2013 member of STRATEC ICOM, 2014-2016 President of MOCO ICOM and Chairwoman of the Resolutions Committee at the Conference of ICOM in Milano 2016. Member SAREC ;
Member AICA.
From 2005 member of Independent Group of Experts, EU Council; expert in Join Programming Initiative Heritage EU, from 2013 member of interdisciplinary Group of National Program of Development of Humanistic Sciences.
Member of the Humanistic Sciences Committee at Polish Academy of Science.
Member of museums and archives councils, among others: Archive Council of Poland; Art Museum in Łódź;, Silesian Museum in Katowitz, Museum of Europe, Brussels; National Museum in Poznan; National Museum in Wroclaw, Chair of councils of the National Museum in Kielce and Tatra Museum in Zakopane.
