ABOUT THE PROJECT

This project is aimed at overcoming the social exclusion visits of young people living in rural and isolated areas.

Specific objectives of the project are:

1. Discover the issues of social exclusion of young people, understanding them and using a tolerance;
2. Improving solidarity and tolerance for young people with fewer opportunities and marginalized groups as a means of overcoming social exclusion.

What about the youth exchange?

The project is planned to implement a youth exchange “We can change the world”. During the youth exchange, non-formal education methods will be fully used, as the project consortium considers them to be an effective method for raising the skills and abilities of young people. Frequently, the methods used in the implementation of the activity will be brainstorming, group work, discussions, debates, role-plays, simulations, city games, ice-breaking, concentration games, movie session, meeting with local people, art and cultural activities (plays, musical challenges), quizzes and others. PARTICIPANTS PROFILE

We are looking for 5 participants and 1 team leader who are:

• 18 – 30 years old (there is no age limit for the team leader),
• living in rural, isolated or sparsely populated areas,
  regardless of gender, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. or a young person falling into the “vulnerable group” category, ie. at risk of falling into poverty, a child of a single parent, a representative of a minority group, etc. (living in Croatia)
• open for new dating and fun,
• desiring to communicate in English and other languages,
• strongly motivated to engage in such activity.
• Priority will also be given to candidates who have not participated in youth exchanges so far.

COSTS

This project is financed by Erasmus +, so all costs like travel, accommodation, and food are covered. There is a reservation fee of 150 kuna which you need to pay before the project for administration costs if you are going to be selected. You can ask your university, company or NGO you are involved in to help you cover the fee.

Are we getting any certificate?

You will have the opportunity to earn a Youthpass – recognition tool for non-formal & informal learning on youth projects. It’s more than just a certificate. Trust ;
