We would like to join project proposals under Danube Region Programme Second Call for Proposals (mainly with the focus on the following specific objectives: SO 3.3 Culture and sustainable tourism, SO 2.4 Protection and preservation of the nature and biodiversity) as partner, in which our current competencies could be an added value. Harghita Community Development Association (49 municipalities from Harghita county) undertakes its activities in the field of tourism, cultural heritage and environmental protection in Harghita county (Transylvania, Romania).

Our main activity is development and popularization of tourism. ADI Harghita holds conferences and training courses (online marketing, tour guide, receptionist) to help the work, information and development of workers in the field of tourism, as well as people interested in tourism. 

The association is charged with the management, maintenance and popularization of Visit Harghita app and website. The app offers information in Romanian, Hungarian and English about accommodations, restaurants, tourist attractions, the county’s best-known legends and more.
