Establishing e-bike routes based around the karst limestone Orjen mountain massif and its lowlands which straddle Montenegro / Croatia and Bosnia. Adjoining areas include the 13th century fortress town of Herceg Novi, Montenegro, the market town of Trebinje and the Popovo Polje valley in Bosnia and Hercegovina and the Konavle region of ;
Establishing multi-day and one day guided and self guided ebikes routes through the region joining together agri-tourism households, stone villages, farms and small tourism providers, honey houses and family run wineries; fishing businesses and town markets; small restaurants and organic & slow food offers. Broaden the scope of access to areas where few visitors currrently reach (main focus in this region are the bigger tourist spots of Kotor, Dubrovnik and Mostar). Use the project to conduct training and outreach in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and set the stakeholders on the path towards GSTC certification as a network, through one of the main certification providers (ie Travelife). Encourage public / private partnerships and development of stronger relations between public and private stakeholders. Encourage stakeholders to feel invested in the stewardship of their destination.
