This project was based on a needs assessment of the strategic development of the school. The project aims to increase the professional skills of teachers of basic art education in teaching methods, implementation of new methods into school curricula and improving the quality of education and strengthening the international dimension of school. The project participant will be The Elementary Art School Novy Jicin, of which four teachers representing all branches of school participate in structured training courses abroad. These courses are aimed at departmental methodology that is not yet in the Czech Republic more widely used. The project is implemented by the project team, which organizes the course of international mobilities and monitors their progress. An integral part of the project will be the dissemination phase of the project and evaluation of its impact. The results of the project will be the development of professional competencies of teachers, the strengthening of international dimension of the school, implementation of modern teaching methods in the field of music, dance and visual arts and will strengthen an interdisciplinary cooperation cooperation in school as well. Another expected impact of the project will be an improvement of the quality of education and the dissemination through seminars and practical workshops and exhibitions organized for Elementary art schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The long-term benefit of the project will be strengthening of the European dimension of art education in the Moravian-Silesian Region, and the indication of the new concrete possibilities of its development.
