Zvyšování kvality internacionalizace školy
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

This project is focused on teachers' mobilities, that is mobilities for teachers of vocational subjects, for teachers of foreign languages, as well as for the representatives of school management. The purpose of mobilities included in this project is to enhance the quality of international activities at our school and make them more efficient. In the future we would like to use international collaboration for modernization and improving the quality of our educational system and vocational preparation. We also wish to make our international activities useful for our students not only with regard to the development of their language competences, ICT competences, or cultural awareness but also with regard to the development of their vocational competences. Although we have extensive experience with international activities, we need to involve more teachers of vocational subjects and also the school management in them in order to meet the goals related to their focus and integrate them into the strategic plans of our school. The main objective of our project is to increase the quality of our school internationalization through: - gaining insight into the teaching of particular subjects in European context - the development of teachers' methodological competences and sharing the examples of good practice with other European colleagues - the development of teachers' language and communication competences - the improvement of students' language and ICT competences - getting the knowledge and understanding of European cultural diversity - establishing networks with European colleagues and defining the areas of possible cooperation. Education in various European courses will be offered to three language teachers, two science teachers (biology, chemistry), two teachers of vocational subjects (agricultural and veterinary subjects), the head teacher and the deputy head. Courses for a biology and chemistry teacher as well as the one for a veterinary teacher will deal with the teaching methodology of particular subjects. A teacher of agricultural subjects will attend a CLIL course. Courses for language teachers will be methodological too. They will be chosen carefully so that they equip them with the ability and capability to prepare their students better for participation in international projects. Courses for the head teacher and the deputy head will include short study visits to European schools and seminars about using the tools of Erasmus+ programme. We are sure that the participation in courses will provide our teachers with an opportunity for personal and professional growth and help especially the teachers of vocational subjects to build up self-confidence which they need for planning and realizing international activities. This will result in improving the quality of educational services provided at our school. Finally, students' key competences will be better developed and that will make them prepared for the life and labour market in Europe.
