The project was established as a result of need to continue our well developed contacts with our foreign partners who provide vocational training for our students and teachers in partner companies abroad. The main aim of submitted project is development of vocational skills of pupils and teachers of our schoo, getting experience of working abroad, learning new technologies and methods, using and improving foreing leanguage and implementation of the project results among other pupils and teachers. Students of all branches will be involved in the project – 8 students of the horticultural branch, 14 students of the agricultural branch, 22 students of veterinary branch and 6 teachers. Agricultural students will have vocational training on a goat farm in Spain and they will do following activities: milking the animals in a traditional and mechanical way, feeding the animals, help with shepherding activities, assist in the production of handmade products: cheeses, yogurts, junkets, etc. Veterinary students will have vocational training on a goat farm and in a dog shelter in Spain and they will do following activities: feeding, watering and examinating animals; cleaning and disinfecting cages and work areas; sterilizing laboratory and surgical equipment; providing post-operative care; administering medication orally or topically; preparingsamples for laboratory examination under a veterinarian's or veterinarian technician's supervision; blood collection for diagnostic purposes; fecal sample collection; administration of previously prescribed. Horticultural students will have vocational training in a gardening company in Spain. They will do following activities: working for modelling, equalizing, breaking-up and fertilizing the sowing, establish the physical and chemical appropriations of ground, the establishment of flower cultures in parks and gardens, controlling the weed , completing the empty, applying the fertilizer and irrigating the cultures, apply sanitary treatments against the pest and the sickness of flower plants and of tree plantations, working to harvest by hand the flower plants, execute works of cutting trees and decorative shrubs and watering trees and decorative shrubs, execute the arrangement of climbing roses and pinks, executing the works of cutting and fertilizing the hedge, the trees and shrubs from arranged landscape, preparing the ground mixture and planting transplant from hothouse in flowerpots. Agricultural students will have vocational training in Martos (Spain), agricultural region with olive fields. They will do following activities: applying sanitary treatments against the pest and the sickness of flower plants and of tree plantations, working to harvest by hand the flower plants, executing works of cutting trees and decorative shrubs and watering trees and decorative shrubs, executing the arrangement of climbing roses and pinks, executing the works of cutting and fertilizing the hedge, the trees and shrubs from arranged landscape, preparing the ground mixture and planting transplant from hothouse in flowerpots. Two teachers will visit a botanic garden in Córdoba for one week, where they will make photo documentation of important species of plants. They will focus on differences of growing plants in mild and subtropical climate conditions. Another week they will spend visiting horticultural companies in the region to observe differences in technologies of growing decorative cultures. A group of four teachers of floristics will spend 4 days in the Floristic center in Dresden, Germany decorating flowers for various occasions, e.g. wedding arrangment, funeral arrangment. During their stay they will exchange experience and techniques of the arranging methods. The realisation of the project will be ensured by coordinators from our school who will prepare documentation of the project, selection of pupils for the training, develop and maintain cooperation with partner organisations, prepare and organise activities with participants before their departure, ensure transport, provide monitoring of the training and following assessment and dissemination of the project. Partner organisations from Spain and Germany will provide working placement of pupils and teachers, monitoring of their activities, transfer from airport, full board accommodation, cultural activities, accessibility in case of any problems, collecting of outputs of the training. As a result of the project activities pupils and teachers will develop vocational and professional skills and improve foreign language. They will meet a different mentality and culture and they will experience a lifestyle abroad. Work and stay in a new environment can help them to understand the importance of learning and improving to find a job and a place in European society.
