We have decided to call our project „Experiencing the unity in a variety of ways“. This name reflects the character of our school. With 700 students and more than 50 teachers our institution is one of the biggest in the Upper Nitra region including the nursery, primary school (the first and the second grade), secondary school (8-year and 4- year study programme) and secondary professional school. Therefore there is a great variety of needs and interests. The aim of our project is to meet these different requirements and unite them in order to give our school the status of a child/ student centred school offering high quality education, safe and friendly environment. Seven teachers have already responded and would like to take part either in a structured course or job shadowing experience cooperating with twin schools. The object of these activities is to improve language skills, ICT skills, to know innovative teaching methods and build new international partnership. New ideas will be included in School teaching curriculum and European Development plan. It can help to improve quality of teaching process, to improve a position of the school in the region and to help the school in its future long-term development.
