The Project "Build your vocational career" includes: cultural programme, acquiring competence on the European job market, Portuguese, Spanish and German languages learning, vocational practice in Spain, Germany and Portuguese - nine weeks of training altogether. 60 beneficiaries: technical school students, post-secondary school students and vocational schools students from ZSP4 will take part in the project. They are learning such professions like IT technician, building constructor technician, surveyor (geodesy)technician, food technology technician, cook, hairdresser and fitter. The main aim of the project is developing of professional competences through the implementation of tasks connected with transnational mobility. Expected results include gaining of competences related to proper career in the future and increasing of competitiveness of the students as future workers at the job market. The project will help with ZSP4 students' professional and personal development. The activeness of students, their range of knowledge and skills will be increased. During the overseas vocational training in Spain, Germany and Portuguese theory and practice will be combined. The students will take part in vocational competence training and they will be trained to be skilled in searching for a job in EU. ZSP4 students will have an unique opportunity to adjust their language and professional skills to European job market. The beneficiaries' language skills will rise considerably after the intense course in Poland, Spain, Germany and Portugal and thanks to everyday use of the foreign language during the placements. The beneficiaries who will learn the requirements of European job market will be given bigger chances for employment. The project will consist of the following stages: 1. Admission of the participants of the project in ZSP4 - January 2016, September 2016 Admission will be open for everybody. There will be a form prepared for registration. Admission will be conducted in accordance with equal chances, especially with taking into consideration students with an opinion from psychological counselling center, students from incomplete families. The choice of beneficiaries is like this because of the big disparity, it is difficult for some students to continue education or find a job. The choice will be done by the Selection Committee consisting of the ZSP4 Head Teacher, coordinator, home room teachers and school psychologist. 2. The meeting with students' parents/guardians and ZSP4 head teacher, coordinator of the project" January 2016, September 2016. During the meeting they will be informed about the placement programme their specificity, additional activities, requirements as far as insurance is concerned, job, and everyday matters connected with the placement. 3. Cultural, language preparation, competence workshop on the European job market in ZSP4 ZSP 4 will estimate preliminary Spanish, German, Portuguese language competence. 60 beneficiaries will take part, they will be taught in groups of 10 people. Dates: -February - June 2016 - 15-hour Portuguese language preparation will be done -October - December 2016 15-hour Spanish language preparation will be done -February - June 2017 15-hour German language preparation will be done -February - June 2017 5-hour workshop referring to European market competence will be conducted for groups of 20 people -February - June 2017 5-hour cultural preparation for groups of 20 people. 4. Overseas placements will take place: -Lizbona 25.07.2016-14.08.2016 -Sewilla 15.01.2017-04.02.2017 -Bad Freienwalde 03.07.2017-23.07.2017 In Zamosc region there are few companies where placements can take place. As Zamosc region is one of the poorest both in EU and in Poland, most of our students have never had an opportunity to go abroad and they may never have one. Thanks to overseas practice, vocational mobility of our students will increase significantly. Overseas placements will help to gain new skills and competence and improve the ones our students already have. As a result of overseas practice ZSP4 students will improve their knowledge and skills, they will acquire practical competence which will broaden the knowledge they have gained while learning at school. They will increase their key competence (communication in a foreign language, the ability to learn themselves, interpersonal, social, intercultural competences, resourcefulness). The additional result of the project implementation will be deepening and broadening the cooperation of ZSP4 with overseas partners, which will help to improve the quality of education and the way the school functions. The organizing of transnational mobility will be better and in the future the employability of ZSP4 graduates will improve.
