Career crossroads – corporation or small business, how to branch out the gamut of professional choices. This is the project developed by Zespół Szkół Elektrycznych nr 1 in close cooperation with Vitalis GmbH from Germany and Training Vision LTD from Great Britain.The beneficiares of the project are 62 the third-year students of technical profiles: IT technician, electronics technician, electrical technician who will do a traineeship in Great Britain-England and in Germany. The mobility will last from 30th April to 27th May 2017.The main objectives of the project:- Comprehensive training of professional competences and key competences (linguistic, social and civic, cultural awareness) of 62 students from technical school in order to prepare graduates to apply for higher education and for the future mobility and professional competition in the European Labour Market.- Improvement of quality and atractiveness of vocational education and training.- Enhancement of international cooperation in the field of implementing the good practice- Equalising the path to a career for students from less developed areas ( small, non-industrial towns and villages)The specific objectives of the project:- Completion of the compulsory, scheduled traineeship by 62 the ZSE students,- Comparison of education systems in European countries,- To obtain qualifications and skills confirmed by certificates Europass, ECVET,- The best trainees will get the references from the companies,- Comparison and interpretation of performance of market economic system for medium and small businesses,- Improvement of the ability to co-operate in an international group,- Development of mediation and negotiation skills, dealing with difficult situations,- Improvement of language skills especially in the language for specific purposes areas,- Getting to know the culture of Great Britain and Germany,- Building up self-esteem of all beneficiares of the project.- Raising awareness of the possibility of creating own career paths as well as motivating beneficiares to constant personal growth.- Augmentation of job opportunities for ZSE graduates,The added value of the project will be:- Making international friends,- Promotion of the idea of doing traineeship abroad in the Cracow area,- Encouraging students of middle schools, including girls, to choose technical schools,- Promotion of our school in the city and the region, which results in the recruitment process.All the beneficiares will receive linguistic and cultural preparation. ZSE will take care of the youth during the training, training coordination, merit aid, language support, care during trips around Germany and Great Britain, organization of their free time, monitoring the course of traineeship and conduct the evaluation.The receiving organisations will organize receiving the group and 4-week practical training. Execution of the cultural program concerning History and culture of Great Britain and Germany will improve general knowledge of the participants and can have positive influence on their attitude towards multicultural society.The completion of the project will result in better career prospects for our students. All the beneficiares will improve core competencies and professional skills. This experience will also ease their professional mobility in Poland, Europe and beyond, increase their competence in German and English for specific purposes, as well as more strategic and integrated use of ICT at school and work. It can also influence the school curriculum and rise education market atractiveness of our school. The teachers who will go with students will be responsible for monitoring the course of the traineeship. Final reports will help evaluate the project and plan other mobilities and strategic partnerships .
