PROJECT
FINISHED
The project "Programmed for knowledge" implies participation of young people studying in VET in Trzebnica, in foreign practices in Italy and Irland. Practices will be covered by students in grades 3, trainees in the fields of: IT technician, economics and logistics technician. In the project will take part 49 people. Dates are predicted for March 2016 and April 2016, which fits perfectly into the calendar practices of the school year 2015/16.
During the learning process, students acquire general knowledge of professional courses. However, to be effective education, basic knowledge must go hand in hand with practice and experience. The holding of foreign work experience is a definite asset to the local, regional and national labor market. According to the European Commission "Rather than being the exception, as it is currently, learning mobility should become a natural part of the European identity and be available to all young people in Europe." (Green Paper-promoting the learning mobility of young people).
With the project, we wish to contribute to the professional and personal development of our students. Through participation in international practice, students will have the opportunity to experience working in a multicultural team, thereby acquire the skills that are not always possible to develop the work in the local community. Thus, we would like to replace the local dimension of the international dimension. In addition, the project is a chance for contact with other country-specific working conditions and checking under these conditions in two roles - professional ((I-employer relationship, I-colleagues, moreover, I-managing my time, duties, putting priorities, dealing with difficult situations) and a member of the group (the ratio of I-classmates participating in practices, moreover - I'm managing my own budget, I-preparing meals).
This type of responsibility is an examination of maturity for all participants.
According to the research of the Laboratory of Social Sopot, employers generally expressed a positive opinion about people taking foreign practice. In their view, this type of experience teaches flexibility and ability to work in a group. People who took such practices learn quickly and are not afraid of challenges.
The aim of the project is the implementation of educational mobility, thereby increasing the educational offer in our school.
Expected results:
-increase knowledge and skills related to professional education of students
-participation in the European labor market, and thus increase the chances of students for employment after completion of education
-increase the self-esteem of students and belief in their own abilities and the development of entrepreneurship
-increase awareness of students about the benefits of school education
-increase students' awareness of the benefits of learning foreign languages
-increase social competence
-educational schools offer more attractive and increase its competitiveness in the education market
