Project Zahraniční praxe ve Velké Británii (Foreign placement in Great Britain) is aimed at improving quality of vocational education of its participants, establishing contacts with partner organizations and last but not least at improving knowledge and skills of English. It is prepared for for the pupils of Class 3 of Commercial High School, fields Bisiness academy and Economical lycee. It is planned for 20 participants. The placement will enable them to transform theoretical knowledge into practical skills, discover the environment of a foreign firm, which might be different from a Czech one, it will enable to compare needs and wishes of Czech and foreign clients. The project arises from needs of students to learn about the life and working style in the EU countries, which will bring them practical experience for future professional life. The main aims of the project are getting to know economical situation abroad, intercultural education, improving language knowledge, improving ICT skills, learning tolerance, independence, flexibility and independent decisions.The pupils of Class 3 of Commercial High School have integrated economical subject included into the curriculum (synthesis of economics, ICT+internet and accounting, which is followed by a training firm form specialized in accounting. Pupils of Economical lycee have subjects of economics and technics of tourism. During their studies the pupils take part in excursions to various firms. The foreign placement will enable the pupils to get practical knowledge and skills, compare teoretical knowledge and practical skills. The 2-week placement will take place at ADC College and their partner companies (United Kingdom), main focus on administrative work, in spring 2017. All participants will receive a Europass Mobility Certificate and an ADC College Certificate. In the project criteria of the European system ECVET will be used for improving quality of mobilities in vocational education.
