TThe participants of the foreign work placement titled "Foreign training is the key to the European job mobility of cooks and masons" implemented within the framework of the Erasmus + Programme will be the group of 40 pupils of Podlaska Voivodeship Unit of Voluntary Labor Corps (10 persons from each unit), studying in the 2nd and 3rd class of Vocational Qualification (IMS) and pursuing their education in the form of extracurricular, ie. Crafts Science Profession in Lomza, Grajewo, Bialystok and Wasilkow in the profession of the cooks and bricklayers. The pupils of Podlaska Voivodeship Unit of Voluntary Labor Corps acquire their professional skills based on the status of a young job person both in its own manufacturing base training that we possess in the form of workshops, masonry and catering and the external one, ie. service establishments such as restaurants, bars, canteens and for bricklayers in the private construction companies. Each 10-pers. group will go on the traineeship to Frankfurt on the Oder in Germany in the above-mentioned occupations under the supervision of one of the supervisors in the period of months from January to March 2015. The host institution is the Department for Promotion of Vocational Training Building Industry Association of Berlin-Brandenburg in Potsdam. The project is a response to existing demand from employers for comprehensively skilled workers in the construction and catering industry in our province and country. The project was developed in consultation with employers who currently employ the above-mentioned participants in the preparation of the practical. In their own opinions, they report the need of training in juvenile employees the additional skills, which are not included in the IMS and apprenticeship program implemented in the workplace due to the specified profile. The aim of the project is to improve the skills of the participants through the workshop to gain experience abroad. Equally important will be the personal development of the participants, improving their linguistic, philosophical broadening horizons, learning about the culture of work in Germany, which will increase their mobility both at national and European labor market. Participation in the project will enable participants to ease the decision-making professional and personal to the dynamically changing situation on the European labor market in the context of mobility. An important goal of an internship is also to learn the German language by the youth persons, which will help to develop the skills of interpersonal contacts with customers in foreign language in later work and will also facilitate the functioning of a foreign labor market. Before going on the training, there will be 60 hours German language course in the context of the preparation of the cultural, pedagogical and linguistic aspects of the German language. First trip of the first group (masons) is planning to go in the first half of January 2015, the second and third group (cooks) is planning to go in the second half of January 2015, the fourth group (cooks) is planning to go in February/March 2015. Deliberately designed the trip of the smaller groups due to the sustained of high motivation and discipline, better integration with German students, and besides - the experience of one group will improve the quality of placements next group. Students will take practice for the well-equipped workshops in small groups under the guidance of experienced instructors in accordance with the German methodology, which will provide - as a result - the high level of knowledge and skills certified by the host organization BWF and the Europass-Mobility document. There will be also issued a certificate by Podlaska Voivodeship Unit of Voluntary Labor Corps confirming the competencies gained during the internship organized before the practical exam in the country. The result of the project will enhance the employability of young people coming out of the Polish labor market, capturing the employment prospects for the European labor market, including mobility and to improve their skills, gain additional professional experience. In order to give a wider range of benefits that come from participating in a work placement within the Erasmus + Programme information on this subject will be placed in local newspapers, on television, on the website of Podlaska Voivodeship Unit of Voluntary Labor Corps as well as The Main Command of Voluntary Labor Corps, in schools of Podlaskie voivodeship as the information about the additional forms of support during the training in our units. During the meetings, conferences organized at the end of the project, with the participation of guests, ie. employers, representatives of local authorities and schools and participants, carers and the staff of Podlaska Voivodeship Unit of Voluntary Labor Corps will be presented the course placements.
