According to the European employment report and the National Statistical Institute, education and training are important for economic and social advancement, consolidation of skills necessary on the labour market. In its strategy ‘Europe 2020’, the EU aims at reducing the number of students who drop off school to 10% and increasing the number of students with university degrees to 40% by 2020. In the based on knowledge economy, Europe needs qualified labour force, so as to rival in productivity, quality and innovation. 20% of the active population are with poor language literacy and there is non-conformity between the students’ acquired skills and the demanded on the labour market. This affects unemployment and restricts professional growth. Personal development and active citizenship become stronger, equality and social affiliation are encouraged. The results of educational systems will be enhanced by implementation of the project mobilities. The objectives of the project ‘For higher standards in the profession’ aim at students’ training in a real foreign language environment, assimilation of the acquired language skills, establishing reference criteria for their profession and becoming active participants in improving the quality of their own vocational education. The accomplished aims of the project will facilitate the participants in entering the labour market as competitive, highly motivated and realizing the advantages of the chosen profession. The specific characteristics of tourist activities and new technologies, used in production of food and drinks, require a high language level, communication and gaining new skills. The project will contribute to emergence of European citizenship. Students will get to know themselves better, shape their own value system for relations in a different language and cultural environment, will be taught tolerance and respect. Carrying out practical training in another country is an excellent possibility to make friends and contacts that will be useful in professional aspect. The centre F+ U Sachsen gGmbn offers innovative professional training. It is experienced in European projects. More than 60 successfully accomplished projects, with professional and training purpose, with partners from Denmark, France, Spain, Great Britain, Poland, have been recorded in its history. It has facilities and amenities for implementation of internships. The centre is ready to assist us in the realization of our project, to meet our needs and interests. The objectives of the project can be achieved and the participants will benefit from it. After a well-defined and objective procedure 60 students will take part in these educational mobilities. The target group consists of trainees belonging to the classes: “Production of bread and bakery products ”, “Control of quality and safety of food and drinks”, „Rural tourism” and “Organization of tourism and leisure time”. They will be educated in four streams. Each of them will consist of 15 students aged 16-18. Students will gain access to high quality education, related to preservation and development of their cultural identity and getting acquainted with European culinary diversity. There are several basic activities which will provide smooth and trouble-free project implementation: Activity №1-organization, coordination and management. The project team will take responsibility for conducting working meetings and document provision. A survey will be carried out to choose the best offer for a safe trip to Germany. The managers of the partner organizations will control and monitor each stage of the project plan. They will be responsible for dissemination of the project results. Activity №2-selection and preparation of students-it will be fair, responsible and transparent. There will be preliminary courses in pedagogical, cultural awareness and language preparation. Activity №3-realization of the mobility regarding students’ involvement 6 hours a day. They will study theoretically and train practically given topics from bakery and confectionary-materials, processes, technologies and instruments, novelties, pastry making, Saxonian specialities , Briho dough. They will train in restaurants, cafes, bars, hotels, bakeries, confectionaries, and fitness centres. The impact of the project on its participants is that it will give them the opportunity for individual performance in well- equipped and modern workshops of the German organization, different from the school environment. Gaining relevant work experience, competitiveness and possibility for realization on the European and National labour market are harmonized with the strategy “Lifelong Learning”. The long-term benefits of the implemented activities are: motivation to participate in future educational mobilities, professional enrichment and development, the sense of belonging to Europe, professional integration and competitiveness.
