YW-Building Future
Start date: May 1, 2015, End date: Jun 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The high rates of early school drop-outs (12.7 % in 2014 between young people aged between 18-25) and the high unemployment rates among young people (above 23% in the end of 2013) is a priority of the European Union as it acknowledges the severity of the situation on the long run: the negative effect on the economy, social dissatisfaction leading to social tension, etc. The project partners decided to contribute to the improvement of these issues through fostering entrepreneurial spirit in the youth and thus, reaching goals of the EU 2020 Strategy. The objectives outlined in this project are the following: The partners have formulated the following two objectives in relation to the project aim: - To give youth leaders and organizations tools and methods to effectively reach, motivate, inspire young entrepreneurs to reach their full entrepreneurial potential. - To give participants thorough knowledge about the European Union. - To provide participants with in-depth understanding of the Erasmus + Programme and give them hands-on experience working with it . - To inspire and enable participants to plan and implement new projects through new co-operations on a European level in the future. With entrepreneurial skills, the youth becomes eager, and motivated to lead a successful and proactive life. This inspires to adopt a new perspective on life: a confident attitude inspires them to take every opportunity they are provided with and to create new ones. As a consequence, they strengthen their communities and add value to their societies. Not only do they become open to new innovations, but also initiate them personal and professional level. This project provides participating organizations with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively foster the talent of the eager, but insecure entrepreneurs. They acquire tools and methods of inspiring entrepreneurial spirit in young people to enable them to live a proactive and independent life and to further spread the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
