The spanish youth worker will observe and learn about methodologies and tools used in the local context and addressed to italian and foreign young people mainly between 18 and 30 years old but not exclusively. She will support Xena's youth workers in cultural, formative, intercultural and dissemination activities both at the local and regional level, and in the national and international context. Daisy will be trained, introduced and instructed and will actively cooperate to projects and events promoted and coordinated by Xena, within the field of urban regeneration, social inclusion, youth animation (involving also second and third generations of immigrants and young people in various situation of social exclusion), interculturality, fight against prejudices and steretypes, non formal education and promotion of active citizenship. Duting the mobility abroad, Daisy will have the chance to suggest and develop personal projects, supported by Xena's youth workers and project responsibles. The activities of the project will inclued feedback meetings in order to monitor the satisfaction and the project, and will contribute to identify and evaluate the development of competences and training of the youth worker. The final aim of the project is to transfer the competences acquired by Daisy to the original work context, by selecting and reflecting upon the most suitable tools and methodologies, adjusting them to the needs of the local target with the support of the partners of the project, testing of the tools in the local context and evaluation of efficacy and results. We expect to develop a work format that can be disseminated and applicable to new contexts, and to facilitate the exchange of best practices in the field of cultural youth animation.
