“Youthpass for your youthpath future “ is a youth exchange that gathers together 8 european countries : Croatia,Cyprus,Italy,Latvia,Lithuania,Poland ,Spain and Romania.Activities week will be hosted in Busteni between 15-24 october 2015 with 45 volunteers from which 10 will be youngsters with fewer opportunities from isolated village,living in poverty or unemployed.
The context is the economic crisis in Europe that led to increasing of unemployment among youngsters and needs a better focus on development of key competences and recognition of certificates for getting a job.
Aim of the project is to increase sense of initiative and entrepreneurship among youngsters and to aware them about importance of key competences and recognition certificates in getting a job.
The objectives of the project are : to offer to 45 youngsters from 8 countries a common space to reflect on cultural diversity and perception of importance of key competences and European recognition certificates; to understand the key competences and youthpass and their role in personal development for study and work in all Europe;to identify by nonformal education new tools for developing personal linitiatives and business ideas to fight against unemployment;to increase cooperation between youngsters and their structures and to promote good practices for accessing the labour market ;to promote youngsters ideas and initiatives ,active participation and their role in society
The activities forseen are for preparation,introduction and getting to know eachother,trust and team building,presentation of participants and organizations,introduction of Erasmus + programme and youthpass certificate,cultural visits in Sinaia, Bran and Brasov,intercultural evenings,workshops in plennary and groups.There will be 2 main series of workshops : 3 “ Youthpass “ workshop to familiarize youngsters with youthpass certificate,its effect in Europe and with the 8 key competences and their features,then 5 “ Youthpath “ workshops when in groups they will create business ideas, projects and initiatives that will be presented during an exhibition.
The methodology will be based on nonformal education and will consist in games ,presentations,debates,role plays and simulations .
Final results will be a project’s blog , a guide with the ideas developed during workshops and a DVD. The dissemination will be done by all participants and partners through internet,media and social networks
The impact of the project will be felt by youngsters by understanding key competences and their role, by developing new competences and by a better understanding of cultural diversity and stimulation of active participation,sense of initiative and entrepreneurship and thematic by assimilation of new information about recognition certificates and how they can more easyly access labour market.At organization and community level the project will generate more trained youngsters and willing to solve the problems by new tools for decrease unemployment.
Sustianability of project and partnership will be provided by communication between partners ,by a common dissemination and exploitation plan and by writing new application in Erasmus + programme.
