Our project of youth exchanges "Youth he the green trail - Ecology ace and chance for and better future", will take place in 3 dates and 3 various places in Poland: 1st exchange in Mikołajki in the second-half of July 2014, 2nd exchange in Cracow in the second half of September 2014, 3rd exchange in Bukowina Tatrzanska in the first half of February 2015. In each of them will take for 8 persons from every country (7 persons + leader), in total 32 persons. In the exchange will participate youth from 4 countries (Poland, Croatia, Greece and Turkey). As part of exchanges we will have a possibility of associating with the nature, also with the one least affected by the human activity (as the Land of Mazurian great lakes, or the Tatra mountains) but also to notice the city, as the centre, where peculiarly perhaps to be visible idea of the sustainable development. We will discuss the crucial and widely debated matter of the ecology, sustainable development which consists in finding the balance between the economic development and the protection of the natural environmentand human health. Ecology around us, healthy food, recycling, consumer consciousness, ecological energy sources, sustainable management of public space in modern cities - public transport, modern building industry, social responsibility of business are among the topics of particular modules. These are only illustrative subjects which shall be discussed at the time of the exchange. The exchange will include: group workshops, meetings with interesting people and experts, trips to interesting, ecological places and also common discussions in an international group. We will also devote our time to playing games and to taking part in meetings which shall integrate all the participants, also with the local youth. Our ambition is to raise the ecological awareness of the youth participating in the project and the long-term aim of the project is to encourage our partner organizations to consider active participation in the promotion of sustainable development and environmental protection on the area in which they operate. Together we will prepare a plan of such actions. Our exchange shall be a very practical form of informal environmental education and we hope that every body will gain alotof useful knowledge that will be helpful in the future!
