Youth on the Edge
Start date: Mar 1, 2015,
End date: Jul 31, 2015
PROJECT
FINISHED
This youth exchange aims to overcome the problems in relation to youth exclusions stemming from marginalization.
Being
marginalized refers to being separated from the rest of the society ("to live on the Edge"), forced to occupy the
borders and
edges and not to be at the center of things. Unfortunately, marginalized people are not considered as a part of our
societies.
Sometimes youth is excluded due to their hair color, clothes, beliefs or music they like. Therefore, in this trainign
course, we will
realize activities on combating against social exclusions stemming from alienation of so called marginalized youth.
With the
motto of “differences are our richness” and with the guidance of non-formal methods, we will realize this youth
exchange in
Snina, Slovakia together with partners from Slovakia, Turkey, Czech republic, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Romania.
The project
will involve 35 participants in total between the age of 18 - 30 and it will be implemented in 11-19 April 2015 for 9
days. The
