Establishing cooperation between the NBU Sofia and SKC Nis and drafting a Joint Programme Development Strategy will create preconditions for favourable environment for qualification and training of young people in the area of musical education in general and in the particularly selected subjects. The two organisations will develop a joint Strategy for Programme development for their cooperation in the next 5 years. However the implementation of this project will be a pilot test for the efficiency and appropriacy of the established cross-border partnership. This will be checked through organizing a pilot series of seminars, round tables, open demonstrations of the process of mastering skills and public concerts to present and popularise the results of the respective activity and project while providing visibility of the ''Computer Music Production'', for which basic IT equipment will be bought. ; Creating the basic conditions for the introduction and education of young people in the field of Computer Music Production; Maintenance of music workshops - ethno-jazz choir and female choir NBU SKC Nis; working with conductors from Serbia and Bulgaria on the preparation of new compositions with ethnic motifs; Introducing musical cultural heritage of Serbia and Bulgaria through ethnic compositions for choir, Establishing cooperation between the choirs from Serbia and Bulgaria; Introduction and socialization of young people (choir members) working together, exchange experiences; collaboration on preparing the joint concert; performing the final joint concert Maintenance of music workshops - pop-rock band NBU and pop-rock band from Nis, working with experts in the field of pop-rock music, education of the musicians through mastering a specific musical program, Getting to know each other and social development of young musicians working together, exchanging experiences; collaboration on prepearing the concert; performing the final joint concert of both bands Achievements: The project envisioned and achieved the following results:- A 3 day seminar in Sofia on best practices used and latest developments and approaches in digital technologies in music teaching and production was held in Sofia on 29-31 January 2014;- A 4-day practical seminar on digital technologies in music teaching and production was held on 24-27 February 2014. Recording equipment bought under the project was used for the practical exercises;- Round table and best practice exchange in choir master performing was held in Pernik between 21st and 25th of October 2013. Round table was held on 23rd of October 2013 on "Folklore - keeper of traditions and national identity" with representatives of NBU and Nis University, Pernik folklore ensemble and authentic folklore orchestra, Students Cultural Centre – Nis;- Round table and best practice exchange in choir master performing was held in Nis between 4th and 8th of November 2013. Round table was held on the 7th November 2013 on "Folklore as an inspiration for new tendencies in the world music" with music pedagogues from secondary and specialized schools, Nis and New Bulgarian universities, and Serbian folklore ensembles;- The 1st round table and best practice exchange in pop-rock master performing on Pop-rock music - ambassador of the young. The workshop took place in Pernik between the 24th and 28th of June 2013. Mentor was the prominent musician maestro Nikolo Kotsev;- The 2nd round table and best practice exchange in pop-rock in Nis was held between the 15th and 19th of July 2013. Mentor was Vladan Karadzov;- Joint Strategy for Programme Development, Cooperation and Students Exchange – the document is developed and officially adopted by the managing bodies of the two partners. It identified 4 main areas of cooperation and sustainable partnership;The project was successfully completed in April 2014.
