'Youth Like A Diamond' is a multilateral youth exchange project inviting 18-25 years old young people from 8 different countries to Turkey. 42 participants from Turkey, Slovakia, Poland, Portugal, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Italy and Denmark will come together in one of the most international towns of Turkey, in Marmaris, during 03-12 October 2014. Project is scheduled on 10 working days where participants will have chance to get to know each other, discuss and work on the current topics about youth, practice on various workshops. The project is mostly based on practical work, outdoor activities, excursions etc. The main idea of the project is to discover the 8 Key Competencies during the project activities and develop a material to express how youth exchange projects are having an important role for young people to gain competencies. And this material will be in a shape of diamond which is a combination of 8 different triangles representing 8 different learning competencies. Project intends to promote cultural diversity and youth participation among young people by offering them the opportunity to develop activities and workshops in which they can improve their skills and awareness on creativity and entrepreneurship with international level using of Culture&Creativity. Participants will discover the benefits of the youth participation in international mobility projects on their social and personal capacities by sharing their skills, experiences and attitudes in a productive way. Such an intercultural meeting will give chance to young people to learn their cultures, languages, life styles etc. This is a youth project ‘Like A Diamond’ for Europe’s future, for Europe’s youth.
