Vedogiovane will host 5 EVS volunteers from 5 different countries. They will be involved in the activities of the youth centre “Wood” in Arona and the Center "Spazio VIGI" in Borgomanero that is our headquarter and has inside a kindergarden, a restaurant, a bar and a youth centre (in which they will be working). "Wood" has also a Social Restaurant for poor people at lunch, and the volunteers will be involved in there, with other italian volunteers. EVS volunteers will also take part to the activities in other our youth and kids center, involving them in activities and workshops, and they will be involved in all projects involving youth. The theme of the project will be Youth policies and European Awareness. Our objective will be to promote acitive citizenship, mutual understanding and participation of young people through voluntary activities and give them the opportunity to reflect about the value of volunteering. The service will be 12 months long (starting from 1 february). The EVS volunteers will directly learn from their experiences, helped by Vedogiovane in re-elaborate and evaluate their experiences.
