Youth for Outdoor Inclusion

The main aim of this youth exchange is to foster social inclusion and stimulate personal development of young people through sports and outdoor activities. The main idea is to promote inclusion of young people with disability and youth at risk by organizing sport and outdoor activities. It will take place in Kumanovo, Macedonia, by gathering 60 participants from Macedonia as a hosting countries and United Kingdom, Turkey, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania, Poland, Moldova, Italy, Croatia, Armenia and Albania as sending partners. The youth exchange will be made in the framework of non-formal education with interactive and participative approach. The project will combine non-formal learning workshops with practical group projects and outdoor activities to help the young people explore their own identity build confidence and develop peer leadership skills. Participants will explore the power of outdoor activities such as orienting and hiking. On one side they will develop environmental awareness, while at the other improve their life skills.
