The Youth Entrepreneurship and Leadership Laboratory (YELL) Project focuses on the concept and promotion of social enterprises among the youth instilling in them the purpose of forming or venturing into the social enterprise field. To prepare the youth in gaining active grounds in the venture, they must first understand the concept of social enterprise and the purpose it primarily caters. The project seeks to nurture and enhance the entrepreneurial side of the youth participants by bringing out in them innovative ideas. This project believes that combining out of the box thinking with leadership skills will pave way for a more responsible and sensible youth.The objectives of the YELL Project crosscut transnational knowledge and learning boundaries. The project activities entail youth cooperation and experience-exchange mechanisms to expand and widen the horizon of the youth’s understanding of the social enterprise agenda. The reality of infusing the social enterprise agenda can be brought into advancement as a window to the youth’s intended transition as frontrunners of change and innovation and of boosting the capacity of social entrepreneurship in creating employability and in addressing social exclusion of the youth with fewer opportunities.
