The project intends to focus and explore on the concept of the CULTURAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP with specific attention on entrepreneurial skills, leadership and management, need, problem analysis prject design, funding and financing; Those topics will be explored in the context of youth organizations and volunteering.
The planed activities include drupe of3 different non-formal education activities - LONG and SHORT term EVS mobilities and youth workers contact making SEMINAR. Their aim is will gather an international group of EVS volunteers and respectively - youth workers that are developing their own ideas and methodology, in order to find common strategies of social innovation to raise youth employment based on cultural entrepreneurship practices.
The Youth Cultural Entrepreneurs Lab is consider ed as a exemplary project that introduces Erasmus+ programme as a platform for development of international non-formal educational programmes in fields of art and culture and will identify conditions for successful & sustainable youth participation.
The Youth Cultural Entrepreneurs Lab project will create an open space for discussion, sharing experiences and good practices of successful social innovations in the field of art and culture, and proposing new future plans among the group of participants. In that way the project give an answer of the question “What is Social Innovation in the field of culture ?". The 3 type of planed mobilities approache the topic from the point of view of the EVS volunteers (from Turkey, Spain, Italy, Portugal & Croatia) by one hand and by the point of view of 24 youth workers facilitating non-formal educational projects in the field of art, culture and creativity. For their purposes the social innovation in the field of culture is defined as the development and implementation of new ideas (products, services and models) to meet social/cultural needs and create new social relationships and to enhance individuals' capacity to act.
The long term EVS is based on non-formal learning experience in the sphere of contemporary Bulgarian visual arts/culture. The project's task is to increase the visibility of the young generation Bulgarian visual artists through the essential contribution of EVS volunteers using variable opportunities provided by the ‘new media’ (bloging, citizen journalism,online optimization).Via non-formal educational methods the project shall map the youth Bulgarian visual artists on the European& global art scene creating an YOUTUBE CHANNEL edited and supported by Italian,Spanish & Portuguese EVS volunteers in English, and their languages. Following the recent youth non-formal educational tendencies the EVS mobility project shall be created by (art interested)young people(EVS volunteers) for other young(art interested) people (young Bulgarian visual artists& publics). During a year, the team of 3 EVS volunteers and an ICCS' coordinator will provide video and photo documentation of artistic events in order to involve young the youth artists. All products created by ICCS's volunteers teem will be posted on the web-platform& promoted among the Bulgarian student audiences and
The project goal to increase ENCOUREGE the SENCE of INITIATIVE & ACCES TO CULTURAL can be subdivided as follows:
-to increase the visibility-national, European& International-of the young generation Bulgarian visual artists;
-to promote interest in culture & develop volunteers's awareness about their own creative potential;
elaborate the participants's ability to share and express their views, experiences & opinions related to the project’s theme;
To stimulate through EVS the young people's EMPLOYABILITY, CREATIVITY & sense of ENTREPRENEURSHIP;
-to involve NEETs youngsters & to help participants to gain new work method, to acquire learning interests & develop entrepreneurial skills
-to promote EVS and understanding of what European citizenship means for young people.
During short term EVS 5 volunteers will attend and assist with the organisation of different creative and learning workshop for youth people. They will also develop variety of creative outcomes that are going to valorizate area of the National Park Rusenski Lom. The expected outcomes of the group EVS project should be related to: variety of handmade souvenirs and small objects created by natural materials, collected from the park; sculpture and another site-specific artworks; a calendar with landscape photography from the area of National Park Rusenski Lom; creating weblog for the project; decoupage workshop; ect.
The all EVS volunteers will work under supervision of ICCS members and trainer for some of the activities.
The seminar will bring together and exchange good practices in youth work in the field of arts,culture and creativity. The seminar activities will give a chance to youth workers, young leaders and experiensed proffesionals to share tools,methods and prepare young people to undertake entrepreneurship activities.
