The youth exchange “Youth Creativity in Conflict Resolution ” will gather 35 young people from seven countries (Georgia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sweden, Moldova, Denmark, Norway) in Ganja, Azerbaijan, from September 01-09 2013.The project aims to deal with conflict and conflict management in general terms in order to understand basics of conflicts, conflicts dynamics and conflict resolution, to share and discuss current conflicts in Europe, to empower and motivate young people to take an active role in conflict resolution and reconciliation processes as European Citizens, and to elaborate creative means of conflict resolution on local level.Therefore, a variety of non-formal educational tools such theatre, drama and storytelling techniques, simulation exercises, group work and young people led workshops, feedback and evaluation sessions, cultural evenings organised by the participants, and local excursions, including meetings with a local NGO and local authorities in Azerbaijan, will be integral parts of the project, culminating in creative street performance on common community conflicts in the participating countries and identifying handy solutions to these problems.
