"Active Young Women Entrepreneurs"
The purpose of this project is to raise awareness about women entrepreneurship which will be improved in parallel with the social position of women. Presenting the numerous challenges that women face in business life, building self-esteem among women to overcome these difficulties, empowering women and paving the way for the women as to be socially stronger, stand over their feet and contribute the economy as an entrepreneur form the main axis of the project.
With this project, a wide and satisfactory training programme is aimed with the participation of disadvantaged countries and young and enthusiastic women participants who are willing to be an entrepreneur or willing to learn the process. The participants will be between 18 and 35 years and with positive discrimination, women participants will be privileged. We will listen their stories and dreams and we support them by giving the necessary information during the project in order to bring their ideas to life and inform them about the tips of being a women entrepreneur and how to use the support programmes both in Europe and in their countries. We are going to prepare a training programme curriculum mostly based on the publications of the EU, NGOs and associations from Turkey such as KOSGEB and KAGIDER. Therefore, we will have a multi-layered training programme for our multicultural participants. In addition, we will discuss the roles of NGOs, vocational courses, informal learning organizations and women associations to empower women. Unemployment, employability and career building will be another main discussion that we will hold during the meetings in the project. We are planning to have an interactive training programme enriched by critical thinking, creativity and presenting the ideas effectively and freely.
The possible effect of our training course is to contribute to rebirth of the women who experience to be a part of a disadvantaged groups/countries devastated by wars and domestic disorders. Empowering women power is our core subject. Intercultural learning, unity for the problems and solutions, the principles of entrepreneurship such as researching, learning, critical thinking, planning, decision making and acting will be discussed.
